[ He looked around again, just slightly disheartened. ]

...I had hoped to find him myself. I had to try. However, I have not located him anywhere withing this city, so it would seem he is not yet ready to be found. I will begin regular use of this device from now on.

((ooc: As a note, Lee has not looked at his device once since beginning his search, so he isn't aware of any citywide occurrences that weren't readily obvious to him, including arrivals/departures. Just a heads-up!))

[ The feed clicks on, and initially it is entirely blurry, as if the target of attention is far too close to the camera. Mumbling can be heard at a quick pace. ]

[ Leaning back, for a few seconds all that is visible is a large eye and even larger eyebrow. Then, finally, Lee moves back to an acceptable range, visible from the shoulders up. It is apparent that he is outside, presently. ]

Splendid! The video is functioning. Now I may keep a record of my trip, so I can show Gai-sensei upon my return! He will be so proud of my diligence...!

[ Clearly not aware that this device is meant for communication, Lee begins to walk, filming everything in sight and narrating as he goes. ]

[ At that moment, the hidden weights on his legs seem to take a life of their own, and Lee is jerked/dragged several yards away, dropping his PCD. He recovers quickly, running opposite the pulling motion; the result is a rather silly visual of Lee sprinting in place, moving forward at a rate of about one foot per minute. ]

It would appear I am being targeted by a most unusual jutsu! This is certainly not good, but it will not stop me!
